Within EURRECA, TNO coordinates Integrating Activity 3, which is developing a methodology for “personalized micronutrients recommendations” taking into account physiological and phenotypical reasons for variability and individuality.

This will be achieved by metabolomics-based quantification of the micronutrient and health status combined with mathematical modeling. Input from the other research workpackages will be used to determine the set of parameters to be quantified. This activity also aligns with international efforts to establish and quantify the “nutritional phenotype”, where EURRECA will be responsible for the micronutrient part.
