The Nutrition Group of the Department of Clinical Sciences at the University of Las Palmas en Gran Canaria (ULPGC) undertakes studies including the evaluation of dietary habits and their links with disease (obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, depression, etc) as well as developing techniques for assessing food and nutrient intake and status in different populations groups.

Within EURRECA, The Director (Prof. Lluís Serra-Majem) is a member of the Steering Committee and is the Activity Leader of Research Activity 1.1 Intake Methods. The Researchers of the Group participate within EURRECA in different work packages including the influence of individuality, variability and vulnerability, infant nutrition, adults, pregnant and lactating women and postmenopausal women.
