Paris, France

A major goal of the Unité de Nutrition Humaine (INRA Clermont-Ferrand) is to explain the
key role played by nutrients and foods in the prevention of ageing-associated diseases.

Within EURRECA, the laboratory participates in two different tasks:

  1. the assessment of nutritional phenotype to quantify the variability in nutrient needs and status through a metabolomics approach (IA3);
  2. reviewing methods for measuring the status in some micronutrients, and more particularly phytochemicals and magnesium (RA 1.2)
