EURRECA SME Forum Launched
EURRECA has launched a forum to improve its engagement with Europe’s Small & Medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) food producers (and those in related businesses)

Sara Remon, R&D Director of Spanish food SME Novapan SA, commented further " By opening up EURRECA’s work and developing a dialogue with food companies, particularly the smaller ones, EURRECA is doing something unique and extremely worthwhile.  I look forward to the discussions to come and to making many new SME - and scientist - friends as we debate the important issues”

Within EURRECA, this work was led by Luca Bucchini of Hylobates, Marten Renkema of Topshare and Marc Catchpole of Minerva. Setting out his ambition for the forum, Luca commented “Our vision is to create a virtual meeting place where topics can be discussed, ideas presented and consensus formed on potential solutions between EURRECA’s Scientists and EU SMEs. It is essential that SMEs and nutritionists are able to present their ideas in a way that helps EURRECA develop well-suited tools. We look forward to engaging with SMEs across Europe on this important work over the coming months”
